Members have the opportunity to ride Cavalry horses on the weekend in central London. Riding is suitable for those assessed as advanced by the Club.

The Club has supporting rider membership with the Light Cavalry at Flemish Farm, which has allowed this venue to become a second home where members can ride great horses six days a week. There’s an indoor all weather school for flat and jumping lessons, hacking in Windsor, and skill-at-arms for the militarily inclined.

The Club runs show jumping and dressage clinics there from time to time.

The Light Cavalry horses are the Military Equitation and Mounted Skill-At-Arms Ceremonial Unit of the HAC (Honourable Artillery Company).

The floodlit arena is all of a two-minute walk from Vauxhall tube and railway stations and about 20 minutes’ walk from Westminster. It’s a very welcoming, friendly place where you not only get to ride, but also to groom, tack up and untack your horse.

This is a Riding for the Disabled Centre. By riding at Vauxhall we help to support a charity which does great work for the community.

Another venue for riders for all abilities, it has ponies as well as horses and dedicates Tuesday evenings to the Club which are often followed by a trip to the pub.
