To join to the CSRC you needed to be a member of the Civil Service Sports Council, the CSSC .

However, as of December 2025, some things that are changing in the short term:

You are no longer required to be a Civil Service Sports Council (CSSC) member to join CSRC if you are a Civil or Public servant and can provide proof of this.

You can cancel CSSC and become a CSRC Associate Member for £50 if you are a Civil Servant. Proof of Civil Service status should be sent when payment is made.

You are welcome to keep your CSSC Membership and pay £20 for Full CSRC Membership.

Please note that we will continue to restrict membership to the Club to support Public and Civil Servants so any new memberships will need to be considered.

If you are not a Civil Servant and would still like to join the CSSC, you may still be eligible to join the CSSC via its Linked Membership scheme  for friends and family.
